Mr. Gutierrez is the General Manager of Naviera Central, a position he has held since 2010. Prior to serving in his current role, he was Associate at SEACOR Holdings where he was responsible for overseeing SCF’s interests in Interbarge, an inland river JV in South America. Mr. Gutierrez joined SEACOR following five years with NABORS Drilling International where he focused on supply chain, operations, and commercial/contracts in Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Houston and the Middle East. He has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidad de los Andes.

Alberto Carrizosa de Narvaez is the Finance and Administrative Manager of Naviera Central. He joined the company in 2012. Prior to this position, he spent several years working in the sand and gravel mining industries in Bogota. Mr. Carrizosa has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Bogotá and a Masters in Corporate Finance from CESA Universidad.

Mr. Velasquez serves as the Operations Manager at Naviera Central. Prior to joining the company in 2012, he spent two years at Banacol as the Director of Maritime Operations and Maintenance in the Santa Marta Division. He is a founding partner of the Port of Puerto Berrio, located on the Magdalena River, where he held the position of General Manager for 14 years. Mr. Velasquez has a B.S. in Business Administration from the Universidad de la Salle in Medellín.

Mr. Palacio is the Technical Manager at Naviera Central where he focuses on maintenance strategy and fleet optimization. Prior to joining Naviera Central in 2017, he spent 11 years with Intertug and its subsidiary BaruOffshore working on harbor and offshore projects in Colombia, Honduras, Mexico, Brazil, and Peru. Mr. Palacio holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from EAFIT University and a Masters in Maritime Engineering from Southampton University.
